Integrating Slack with Tactiq workflows enhances communication by allowing you to share meeting summaries, transcripts, action items, and other outputs directly in your Slack channels. This integration keeps your team informed without switching tools.

This article will guide you through using Tactiq workflows to automate sharing meeting details and action items to Slack, providing quick access to essential information.

Integrate Slack with Tactiq

Make sure Slack is already connected to Tactiq under Integrations. Check out Tactiq's integration for Slack for instructions.

Create a Workflow

  • Go to My Workflows on the Tactiq dashboard and click New Workflow to create one from scratch or choose a template like Write a summary and send to Slack.

  • Name your workflow and start setting up the steps.

Set Workflow Steps

For example, if you want to generate a short summary and send it to Slack:

  • Add a step to generate the summary then, click the + icon to add another step and choose the option to Share with an integration, then select Slack.

  • Choose the Slack channel you want to send the output, summary or transcript to and under Message, set the output to use the generated summary from the previous step.

  • After setting up, click Save then run the workflow by selecting Run.

Once the workflow is run, your meeting summary or transcript will be posted to the selected Slack channel. This applies to any other output you generate from your meeting transcripts.
