To use Tactiq Workflows with Slack, connect Slack under Integrations, add Tactiq to your Slack channels, and use a Slack action in your workflow to share AI-generated meeting summaries, transcripts, or other outputs automatically.

Connect Slack to Tactiq

  • Before using workflows, make sure your Slack workspace is connected to Tactiq. You can do this from Account & Settings → Integrations → Slack.

See Tactiq’s integration for Slack for detailed setup instructions.

  • Once connected, you can add Tactiq to any Slack channel, whether public or private.

    • Open your Slack workspace, go to the channel where you want to use Tactiq, and mention @Tactiq in a message.

    • If it’s not yet added, Slack will prompt you to add it to the channel—select Add Them to confirm.

Learn more in How to set up Tactiq for Slack channels.

Create a Workflow

  • Go to My Workflows in your Tactiq dashboard and click New Workflow.

  • Start from scratch or use a template like Write a summary and send to Slack.

  • Name your workflow and start setting up the steps.

Add Workflow Steps

To automatically share summaries or transcripts in Slack:

  • Add a step to generate the AI summary or transcript.

  • Click the + icon to add another step and choose Share with an integration → Slack.

  • Select the Slack channel and set the Message to use the previous step’s output.

  • Click Save, then Run to send the message to Slack.

Your meeting summary or transcript will now be posted to the selected Slack channel automatically.
