You can connect Tactiq to your Slack channels—both public and private—to share meeting transcripts, summaries, or workflow updates directly in Slack.
How to connect Slack to your Tactiq account
Go to
Account & Settings
→Integrations
→Slack
, then connect your Slack workspace to Tactiq. For more details, see Tactiq’s integration for Slack.
📌 Note: You must have permission to install apps in your Slack workspace. If you don’t, ask your Slack admin to install Tactiq for you.
How to add Tactiq to a Slack channel
Once your Slack workspace is connected, you can add Tactiq to any Slack channel—public or private:
Open your Slack workspace and go to the channel where you want to use Tactiq.
Type
@Tactiq
in the message box.
Select
Tactiq
from the suggestions list if it appears.
If Tactiq isn’t already in the channel, Slack will show a message saying it’s not in this channel. Select
Add Them
to confirm and add the app.
📌 Note: To verify that Tactiq is connected to your Slack workspace, check the Apps
section in the left sidebar of Slack. If Tactiq isn’t listed, reconnect it from Integrations
in Tactiq.
What happens after adding Tactiq
Once Tactiq is added to a channel, you can:
Automatically or manually share meeting transcripts and summaries.
Include Slack actions in your Tactiq workflows to post AI insights or updates.
Keep your team informed directly in Slack.
You’re now ready to use Tactiq with your Slack channels.
Troubleshooting
If Tactiq doesn’t appear when you mention @Tactiq
:
Confirm the Slack integration is connected in Tactiq.
Check that you’re using the same Slack workspace linked to Tactiq.
Re-authorize Slack from
Integrations
.
Verify that Tactiq appears under
Apps
in your Slack sidebar.
