You can connect Tactiq to your Slack channels—both public and private—to share meeting transcripts, summaries, or workflow updates directly in Slack.

How to connect Slack to your Tactiq account

📌 Note: You must have permission to install apps in your Slack workspace. If you don’t, ask your Slack admin to install Tactiq for you.

How to add Tactiq to a Slack channel

Once your Slack workspace is connected, you can add Tactiq to any Slack channel—public or private:

  • Open your Slack workspace and go to the channel where you want to use Tactiq.

  • Type @Tactiq in the message box.

  • Select Tactiq from the suggestions list if it appears.

  • If Tactiq isn’t already in the channel, Slack will show a message saying it’s not in this channel. Select Add Them to confirm and add the app.

📌 Note: To verify that Tactiq is connected to your Slack workspace, check the Apps section in the left sidebar of Slack. If Tactiq isn’t listed, reconnect it from Integrations in Tactiq.

What happens after adding Tactiq

Once Tactiq is added to a channel, you can:

  • Automatically or manually share meeting transcripts and summaries.

  • Include Slack actions in your Tactiq workflows to post AI insights or updates.

  • Keep your team informed directly in Slack.

You’re now ready to use Tactiq with your Slack channels.

Troubleshooting

If Tactiq doesn’t appear when you mention @Tactiq:

  • Confirm the Slack integration is connected in Tactiq.

  • Check that you’re using the same Slack workspace linked to Tactiq.

  • Re-authorize Slack from Integrations.

  • Verify that Tactiq appears under Apps in your Slack sidebar.
