How to unshare a transcript shared via a link

Control who can open your meeting transcript by restricting link access or removing people you previously added.

Written by Gil Patindol

If you’ve shared a transcript using a link but now need to revoke access, you can easily do so in Tactiq. This is helpful if the transcript was shared with the wrong people, is no longer relevant, or contains sensitive information.

Open the link sharing settings

  • Go to My Meetings and open the transcript you shared.

  • Select Share, then select Link (Shareable link).

  • Find the access options under Get link. If you have added people, you can also review them under Users with access.

Open Link to view the transcript’s sharing settings.

Restrict access through the link

Choose Restricted when you want only people who already have access to open the transcript using its link.

  • Under Get link, select Restricted.

  • Select Save and Copy Link to apply the change.

People who relied only on Everyone with the link will no longer have access through the link. People you explicitly added may still have access.

💡 Note: Everyone with the link allows anyone with a Tactiq account and the link to view the meeting. To remove a specific person’s access, restrict the link and remove that person under Users with access.

Remove a person’s access

  • In the link sharing settings, find Users with access. Scroll within the dialog if needed.

  • Select the X next to the person’s email address.

  • Check that the email disappears from the list.

Select the X next to an email to remove it from Users with access. The email address is masked.

💡 Note: This GIF demonstrates removing a listed email. Everyone with the link remains selected in the example, so you must also complete the restriction steps above to prevent access through the link.
