Tactiq automatically saves chat messages from Google Meet as part of the meeting transcription. This means any shared links, comments, or written feedback in the chat are recorded, making it easy to revisit important discussions later.

How to view your saved chat

During the meeting, chat messages appear in the Tactiq widget.

After the meeting, chat messages are saved in your transcription document for easy reference — shared links, comments, or written feedback exchanged in the chat are recorded alongside the transcript.

How to turn off chat saving

If you prefer not to save chat messages in your transcription, you can disable this feature in your settings:

  • Go to the Tactiq dashboard and navigate to Settings under the General section.

  • Locate the option Save chat along with the transcript and toggle this setting off to stop saving chat messages.
