To turn off the automated chat notification, go to your Tactiq account settings and set the Transcription Notification
option to Disabled

Turn off the automatic chat message
Open your Tactiq account settings and go to
General
Find
Transcription Notification
then change the setting fromAlways notify that the transcription is active
toDisabled
💡 Note: If you're on the Free plan, the notification will always appear and cannot be turned off. To manage this setting, consider upgrading to a Pro or Team plan.
Choose whether to notify participants each time
If you want to decide case-by-case whether to notify people in the meeting:

💡 Note: If no option is selected before the timer ends, the system will send a default notification:

will only send the notification for the current meeting
What the notification looks like
Tactiq’s default message says:
“Hi everyone, this is an automated message to let you know my Tactiq extension is transcribing this meeting for me so I can give my full attention to you.”
You can prevent this message by adjusting your settings as described above.
