Tactiq’s Auto-correct feature allows you to customize the spelling of commonly mentioned words, proprietary terms, or tool names that come up frequently in your meetings. This feature helps ensure that your meeting transcripts always display these terms exactly as intended, saving you time from having to manually edit notes after meetings.

If there are specific words or phrases that you regularly use, you can define how they should appear in your transcripts.

Whether it's ensuring a product name is styled consistently or keeping technical terms correctly formatted, Auto-correct helps make your transcripts more accurate.

Add a new custom Auto-correct entry

  • Open the Tactiq dashboard and go to Account & Settings > Settings then click on the Auto-correct tab.

  • In the Replace column, enter the word or phrase you want to customize.

  • In the With column, enter the correct spelling or format for that word.

  • Click Add to save the entry.

Manage Auto-correct entries

  • View your list of custom entries above the input fields.

  • To remove an entry, click the bin icon next to it and then click OK to confirm.

Start or join a meeting as usual, and Tactiq will automatically apply your custom Auto-correct settings. The words or phrases you've specified will appear in the transcript according to your defined preferences.

Note: Custom Auto-correct changes only apply to future meetings and will not affect existing transcripts.
