Overview
Starting with a 1-1 meeting workflow is a practical first step, as one-on-one meetings are a common part of professional life. Let's get started.
Creating 1-1 Meeting Workflow
Head over to My Workflows, where you can manage and create workflows. If you're new to building workflows, starting with a pre-built template is a great way to make things easier—it saves time and effort while giving you a solid starting point.
A great place to begin is with the Write a summary, review it, and send to Slack template.
AI Quick Prompt for Summaries
Once you duplicate the template, you'll first see the AI quick prompts step.
For a 1-1 Meeting, let's update the AI quick prompt to Summary and Action Items. This prompt turns your meeting transcription into clear, actionable items—whether you're managing up to your manager or keeping track of key takeaways from your 1-1s.
If you want to use your own custom AI prompt for your 1-1 Meeting, remove AI: Quick Prompts and then add a new step: AI: Write your own prompt.
Review the AI summary
This step lets you review the AI summary before sharing the action items with your manager or colleagues, making sure everything is clear and relevant.
You might want to remove any off-topic conversations that don’t add value or tweak the action items to highlight the most important takeaways.
Sharing to Slack Integration
Connect your Slack account to start sharing the summary with your manager or colleagues.
