The Import feature lets you bring existing Google Meet transcripts from Google Drive into your Tactiq workspace so all your meetings are centralized in one place. Once imported, you can organize, search, and manage past conversations directly inside Tactiq. You can also use AI to generate summaries, extract action items, and uncover insights from meetings that were recorded before using Tactiq.

How to import meetings from Google Drive

  • Go to the Import tab in your Tactiq dashboard.

  • Click Start Import.

You’ll be redirected to a Google permission page. Select the Google account that contains the meeting files you want to import.

Review the requested permissions, then click Allow to continue.

Once access is granted, you’ll be routed to the Import from Google Meet screen. Here, you’ll see a list of available meetings.

You can either select all meetings using the main checkbox, or manually tick the checkbox next to specific meetings you want to import.

The system will begin processing your request. Please wait while the import completes.

What happens after import

When a meeting is successfully imported, you’ll see an Import Complete status with a check mark.

If a meeting does not contain a transcript file or has no transcript content, it will show as Skipped. In this case, nothing will be uploaded. You may need to verify or update the transcript file in Google Drive before attempting the import again.

Once the import is finished, click View Imported Meetings to open and review them in Tactiq.

If you can’t find a transcript to import

If the meeting or transcript file you’re looking for does not appear in the list, check the following:

  • Make sure you selected the correct Google account during the permission step.

  • Confirm that the transcript file exists in Google Drive and is fully generated.

  • Ensure the file is not empty. Meetings without transcript content may not appear or may be skipped.

  • Check that the file is stored in a location accessible to the connected Google account.

If needed, open the transcript file in Google Drive and confirm it contains content. Once verified, return to the Import tab and start the import process again.
