How to delete a meeting transcript in Tactiq

Delete your transcript during or after your meeting

You can delete a transcript in Tactiq either during a meeting or through the Tactiq dashboard.

Deleting a transcript during a meeting

If you're in a meeting and decide that you no longer want it transcribed, follow these steps:

  • Click on the Tactiq widget in your meeting.

  • Hover your mouse over the eraser icon, which will display Delete this conversation.

  • Click on the icon and confirm that you wish to delete the transcript.

The transcription will pause. If you want to resume transcription, simply click again to start recording the transcript from that point.

Deleting a transcript from the Tactiq dashboard

After the meeting ends, you can delete the transcript through your Tactiq dashboard. Here's how:

  • Go to your Tactiq dashboard and navigate to the My Meetings section then locate the meeting you want to delete.

  • Archive the meeting by clicking on the archive icon (a box-shaped icon). The meeting will be removed from My Meetings and moved to Archive.

  • To permanently delete the meeting from the archive, open the archive folder, and click the trash bin icon next to the meeting then confirm that you want to delete the transcript.

Note: This action is permanent, and the transcript cannot be recovered once deleted.
