Are you looking for ways to delete your transcript during your meeting, after the meeting, or maybe you want to clean out your transcripts folder? Or are you looking for ways to get your meeting credit back (If you're on a free plan)?
You came to the right place! There are several options for you to delete your transcript - let's start with deleting the transcript on the Tactiq platform.
How to delete my transcripts on the platform
Step 1 - Archiving my transcript
Go to your Transcript folder
Click the "Archive" icon, next to the transcript that you would like to delete. This action will move your transcript into the archive folder.
You also have the option to archive the transcript directly within the transcription itself.
Step 2 - Deleting my transcript
Go to your Archive page (This is where your archived transcript is stored).
Click on the 🗑️ Bin icon to delete the transcript permanently.
Deleting is permanent, and unfortunately, we can't bring it back once it's done. If you think you made a mistake, just click the restore icon next to the trash bin icon to undo it!
Deleting transcript when a meeting is in progress
If you think you need to restart the transcription process during the meeting, or perhaps you're in a meeting and don't need this transcript to be saved? No problems! You can delete it and get your meeting back (If you're on a free plan)
Click the "Cloud" icon in the minimised widget to make the widget in it's original size
Afterwards, tap on the eraser icon to remove the meeting. You'll get another friendly prompt to confirm if you really want to delete it.
Just a heads up, once you hit that delete button, it's a one-way street – we can't assist in recovering the transcript. So, make sure it's a delete you're sure about! 😊
I'm on a free plan, and I would like to get my meeting credit back
Any of the methods mentioned above will refund your meeting credit. Additionally, any meeting under 5 minutes if free– it won't use up your meeting credit.
