Meeting transcription credits are used to transcribe your meetings in Tactiq.
Free plan users receive 10 transcription credits per month.
Pro and Team plan users get unlimited transcription credits.
Each credit allows you to transcribe one meeting (longer than 2 minutes). Credits reset monthly and do not roll over.
💡 Note: Keeping track of your remaining credits helps you prioritize which meetings to transcribe and avoid running out unexpectedly.
How transcription credits work
1 credit = 1 meeting transcription (if the meeting is over 2 minutes).
Credits apply to Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams meetings captured by Tactiq.
Your credit limit depends on your current plan:
Tactiq Plan | Credit Allocation |
Free Plan | 10 transcripts/month |
Pro Plan & Team Plan | Unlimited transcripts |
How to check your remaining meeting credits
Go to
Account Settings
>Billing
to view your current credit usage.
Free plan users can also see a credit counter on the bottom-left of the dashboard (e.g., You’ve used 0 of 10 meetings this month).
If you're on a Pro or Team plan, it will show that you have unlimited transcriptions.
What happens when your meeting transcription credit runs out?
If you use all your credits on a free plan:
Tactiq will still capture your meetings, but you’ll only be able to preview the transcripts.
You won’t have full access to view, search, or use AI summaries.
To regain full transcript access, you’ll need to upgrade to a Pro or Team plan.
To regain full access to your transcripts, upgrade your plan to Pro or Team plan.
FAQ
Do unused credits roll over to the next month?
Do unused credits roll over to the next month?
No. Credits reset monthly and do not carry over.
Example: If you have 5 credits left at the end of the month, you’ll still receive 10 new credits next month—not 15.
