What is a Meeting Transcription Credit?
Credits are used for transcribing meetings with Tactiq. All Tactiq users will receive transcription credits when they sign up or purchase a plan.
Note: Knowing your remaining meeting transcription credits helps you manage your resources effectively. By keeping track, you can plan and prioritize which meetings to transcribe, making the most of your available credits. This way, you can avoid running out unexpectedly and focus on what's important.
How Meeting Transcription Work
For meetings over 2 minutes, you will consume one Meeting Transcription Credit. The number of credits you have depends on your Tactiq plan.

How to check your meeting credits
For Pro Plan & Team plans, you have unlimited meeting transcriptions. You can confirm this under Account Settings > Billing.
For Free plans, you can check the Billing section for the remaining meeting credits.
Alternatively, on the left bottom side of the page, you can find the details about your meeting credits. For example, it will display You've used 0 of your 10 meetings this month.
What happens when your meeting transcription credit runs out?
Tactiq will still capture your meetings, but you will have limited access to the full transcripts. You can only preview the transcripts and won’t be able to access the entire content.
To regain full access to your transcripts, upgrade your plan to Pro or Team plan.

Do unused credits roll over to the next month?
Do unused credits roll over to the next month?
No. Your transcription usage is a monthly quota: every month it will automatically renew, and any unused credits that you haven’t used won’t roll over to the next month.
For example, if you have five meeting credits remaining at the end of the month on a free plan, you will not receive 15 meeting credits the next month. Instead, you will still receive 10 meeting credits for the new month.
