Tactiq now supports live transcription for Google Meet Companion Mode. This article will guide you through setting up and using Tactiq to capture meeting transcripts while using Companion Mode.

Steps to use Tactiq with Companion Mode

  • Make sure the Tactiq extension is installed and that you are signed in to your Tactiq account.

  • In the Tactiq dashboard, confirm transcription is enabled and the meeting language is correct.

  • Open the Google Meet link to launch the meeting and select Join with Companion Mode. Select Companion Mode to join the meeting without using your microphone or camera.

  • Tactiq will automatically transcribe the meeting in real-time. After the meeting, find the transcript in your Tactiq dashboard or through the email notification.
