The Review Before Proceeding step in Tactiq allows you to review the output of a previous workflow step before deciding whether to move forward. This gives you control over whether to accept the result or take a different action, providing flexibility in your workflows.
How it works
When creating a workflow, you can use the Review Before Proceeding step after a previous action, such as generating a summary using an AI quick prompt.
Here’s how you can set it up:
Start with a step. For example, you could begin by selecting the
AI: Quick Prompt
option and choosingShort Summary
as your first step.
Next, select
Review Before Proceeding
as the following step in your workflow. This will give you the option to either accept or decline the output from the previous step.
If you're not satisfied with the summary or output, you can click
Decline
when prompted on the meeting page. You can then set another action, such as running a different prompt—for instance, switching from aShort Summary
to aDetailed Summary
.
If the output meets your expectations, you can click Accept. From there, you can set the next action, such as sharing the summary via email or saving it to a specific space in Tactiq.
When to use this step
If you need to ensure that certain outputs (like summaries or quick prompts) meet a specific standard before taking further action, this step allows you to review them manually.
This step gives you the option to customize or branch your workflow, either refining the results or finalizing the process.
For example, if you're using a workflow to summarize a meeting and the Short Summary
isn't detailed enough, you can decline the result and automatically generate a Detailed Summary
instead. If you're satisfied with the result, you can proceed with sharing or saving the outcome.
