What is the "Always Ask About Transcribing" Feature?
The new "Always Ask About Transcribing" feature gives you more control over which meetings get transcribed by Tactiq. When enabled, Tactiq will prompt you before each meeting, asking whether you'd like to start transcription for that session.
This feature builds on the previous Auto-Pause option, offering more flexibility. While Auto-Pause simply prevented automatic transcription, the new option allows you to actively choose whether or not to transcribe each meeting, so that you won't miss transcribing any of the meeting.
How to Enable the "Always Ask About Transcribing" Feature
Open the
Settingsmenu in Tactiq.Locate and select the
Always Ask About Transcribingoption.Toggle the switch to activate the feature.
Once enabled, Tactiq will ask you before every meeting whether you'd like to begin transcription.
How Meetings Work with "Always Ask About Transcribing"
With this feature enabled:
Before each meeting, Tactiq will ask if you want to transcribe it.
You can choose Yes to start transcribing or No to skip transcription for that session.
If you select No, no transcription will occur for that meeting, and you can continue without any interruption.

More Control: Decide on a meeting-by-meeting basis whether to transcribe.
Flexibility: You’re not locked into automatic transcription, which is ideal if you want to save time or avoid recording certain meetings.
