With the Pause feature, you can manually control which parts of your meeting get transcribed. This is available on all plans (Free, Pro, and Team).

How to use the pause button

  • During a meeting, open the Tactiq widget and locate the Pause button.

  • Click the Pause button to stop transcription. Once you pause, you'll see a message:
Your transcript has been paused. To resume transcribing, click the pause button again.

How to resume transcription

To resume transcription:

  • Open the Tactiq widget again and click the Pause button.
You'll notice the button will indicate: Transcript is paused; click again to resume.

  • Click the Pause button once more to resume the transcription. After this, Tactiq will continue transcribing the meeting.

Note: Any skipped parts while paused cannot be retrieved after resuming transcription.

This image shows the "Pause" option on the bottom right-hand side of the Tactiq widget, which can be clicked to pause or resume a transcription.

Auto-pause (Pro and Team plans only)

If you want to control which meetings get transcribed automatically, you can use Tactiq's Auto-pause feature. With Auto-pause enabled, you will have to manually un-pause the transcript for each meeting.
