How meeting credits work
Free plan accounts receive 10 meeting credits each month.
One credit is used for an eligible meeting transcript captured by Tactiq.
Meetings shorter than five minutes do not use a meeting credit.
Credits reset monthly on your account’s credit reset date.
Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
For example, if you have three credits remaining when your credits reset, your balance returns to 10 rather than increasing to 13.

💡 Note: Meeting credits and AI credits are separate. Meeting credits control access to meeting transcripts on the Free plan. AI credits control the use of AI features.
Check your remaining credits
Check the credit counter in the lower-left corner of the Tactiq dashboard to see how many meetings you have used in the current period.
Go to
Account & Settings>Billingto review your current plan and usage.
Recover a meeting credit
Free plan users can recover a credit from an eligible saved transcript by archiving it:
Go to
My Meetings.Find the transcript you no longer need in your active meeting list.
Select
Archive.Check the credit counter to confirm that one meeting credit was returned.
The recovered credit can be used for a future meeting. The transcript remains in Archive and is automatically deleted after 30 days unless you restore or permanently delete it sooner.
💡 Note: Permanently deleting a transcript cannot be undone. Archive a transcript first if you may need to restore it.

What happens when you run out of credits
When you use all 10 meeting credits on the Free plan:
Tactiq may continue capturing new meetings, but the transcript is limited to preview access.
You cannot fully view or search the transcript or use its AI features.
A credit recovered by archiving another transcript can be used for a future meeting.
New monthly credits do not unlock a transcript that is already limited to preview.
Upgrade to Pro, Team, Business, or Enterprise when you need unlimited meeting transcripts. Upgrading also restores full access to existing preview-only transcripts.
