Do you need to get the key points from an external video, audio recording, or text transcript? Tactiq makes it easy to upload and store transcript files from any source. This guide explains how to upload your existing files.
Prerequisite:
Our platform currently accepts files in the following formats, with a maximum file size limit of 2GB. Processing video/audio files can take up to 2 hours.
These are the types of files that you can upload to Tactiq.
Text transcripts: vtt, txt, pdf, docx, odt
Presentations: pptx
Spreadsheets: xlsx, ods
Documents: odp, odt, rtf
Audio & Video: mp4, m4a, mp3, mov
Upload Your File and Select the Language
Go to your Tactiq dashboard and click
Upload Transcript or Recordingat the top right hand corner.
You can either
Drag & DroporChoose Fileto upload a transcript or recording.
You also have the option to specify the meeting title and its date and time. If no start
date is provided, it will automatically default to the date you uploaded the file.
Select the
Transcription languageof the language of your transcription. If no language is selected, the system will automatically detect it.
Click
Uploadonce you're ready for the transcription to be uploaded.
Note: If your preferred language is not listed in the selection, choose Meeting Language instead. This option will automatically detect the language spoken in the meeting and transcribe accordingly. Our system will still automatically detect the language even if your language is not listed.
Once your file has been successfully uploaded, you can use Tactiq's Quick Prompts to interact with your content and extract valuable information. This includes getting a quick overview of the main points in your file or a summary of the next steps based on the information provided.
