Tactiq allows you to transcribe your Microsoft Teams meetings in real time, making it easier to keep track of important discussions and decisions. This article will guide you through setting up Tactiq and joining a meeting in Microsoft Teams.
Install Tactiq for Microsoft Teams
To use Tactiq with Microsoft Teams, start by installing the Tactiq extension from the Chrome or Edge Web Store. Simply search for Tactiq and click Add to Chrome or Get to install it.

Join a Microsoft Teams Meeting
Once Tactiq is installed, join your Microsoft Teams meeting using your web browser (not the desktop app). Here's a quick refresher on how to join a Teams meeting:
How to Join: Click the meeting link from your calendar or email and select
Join. ChooseContinueon this browser when prompted.
Join with an ID: Enter the
Meeting IDandpasscode.
Start a New Meeting: Go to your Teams calendar, click
Meet Now, and follow the prompts to begin your meeting.
Tactiq will automatically start transcribing once you've joined the meeting, and you'll see real-time transcription on the right side of your meeting window.
Change the Transcription Language
If you need the transcription in a different language, use the widget and follow these steps.
Minimized Widget: Click the current language displayed, and select your preferred language.
Maximized Widget: Click the
Changebutton on the blue banner, and choose your desired language.
Note: Your selected language will apply to future meetings unless you change it again.

Access Your Transcript
After the meeting, you can access your transcript on the Tactiq dashboard. You’ll also receive an email with a link to the transcript for easy access.
