Updating the billing address on the invoice

This guide will show you how to update your billing address in your payment settings. Keeping this information current helps ensure smooth transactions and is essential for accurate accounting and record-keeping.

Access the payment settings

  • On the Billing page, scroll down to Billing Actions then select Update billing details or payment method. You will be directed to a Stripe page.

Note: For Tactiq teams, the Admin manages the billing address for the entire team except for Pro Plan Users.

Update your billing information

  • On the Stripe page, locate the Billing Information section then select Update Information.

  • Enter your new billing address as it should appear on invoices then click Save to update your information.

Note: After saving, the updated address will appear on future invoices. Past invoices will not be updated retroactively. If you need older invoices updated with your new address, please contact our support team for assistance.

I changed my address, but the old address still appears on my older invoices. Why?

Updates to your billing address will only apply to future invoices and do not update past invoices. If you need older invoices updated, please contact our support team, and we will be happy to help you.

I'm a Pro user and I belong to a Tactiq Team. How can I update my billing address?

  • Individual Pro User: If you're an individual Pro user not part of a team, you can update your billing address.

  • Pro User within a Tactiq team: As a Pro user within a team, you cannot change your billing address. The Admin manages billing information at the team level. Contact support if you need assistance.
