Want to automatically save transcripts from your Zooms so you can access and share them later? Now you can with Tactiq!

Tactiq for Zoom autosaves all your Zoom transcripts to your Google Docs and Tactiq.io account so you can access, review or share them later. Here's how you set up Tactiq for Zoom on your computer.

1: Install Tactiq for Zoom Desktop

  1. Open the tactiq.io integrations page and click on Zoom Desktop Integration.

  2. Click Connect button.

  3. Log into Zoom with your Zoom account details.

  4. Click Authorize.

When you connect Zoom to Tactiq you grant Tactiq access to your individual meeting recordings and transcripts so Tactiq can save the transcriptions to your Tactiq account and Google Docs.

2: Enable automatic transcriptions in Zoom

Tactiq saves transcripts generated in your Zoom recordings. Before you get the transcripts, you will need to turn them on in settings.

Enabling this in your Zoom account:

  1. Open Zoom settings here https://zoom.us/profile/setting

  2. Go to: 'In meeting (advanced)' tab and click 'Closed captioning'

  3. Turn on 'Allow live transcription to transcribe meetings automatically"

3: Transcribe Zooms and Tactiq saves the transcription

Now when you're on a Zoom that is being recorded, you will be able to see a 'CC' button in the bottom menu bar. It might also be hidden under the 'More' menu if your Zoom window is narrow. Click this to enable live transcription of the current meeting.

4: Record your Zoom meeting

Start recording the meeting when you are ready. Shortly after the meeting is over, your transcript will be automatically saved to your Tactiq account according to your settings.

Uninstalling Tactiq from your Zoom Apps

If you have any troubles using Tactiq for Zoom, please use our support chat first - we will help you sort things out. If you still think you need to uninstall it from your Zoom account, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Zoom account in your web browser

  • Navigate to Admin > Advanced > App Marketplace in the sidebar.

  • On the App Marketplace Page, navigate to Manage >Added Apps

  • Locate the Tactiq transcript app and select "Remove" to disconnect the integration.

You can always connect it back, but you won't be receiving meeting transcripts from Zoom while it is not connected.

Now you can access all your saved Zoom transcripts and share them with your team, customers, friends, and workspaces like Notion, Pipedrive, Hubspot, Dropbox, and more!
