New users can join your Team automatically if they have the same email domain, but as an Admin, you can manage or block this to ensure better control over access.
How to manage team sign-up mode
When someone signs up for Tactiq, we suggest Teams they can join based on their email domain.
For example, a user with your domain will see a prompt to join your Team.
Adjust who can join your Team
Go to the
Account & Settings>Team>Team sign-up mode.
Choose one of these options:
Option | Description |
| New members must be invited. |
| New members from these domains are prompted to join. |
| New members from these domains will join automatically. |
Note: You can also use the Add More Domains button to include additional email domains. Contact support to learn more.
How to restrict invitations
You can enable Restrict Non-Admin Invitations to limit the ability to invite new members to admin users only.

Does this setting work on all domains?
No, approved domain settings only work with non-public domains. If your domain is Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or a similar public domain, you won't have this option.

If I join the team, will my team members see my transcriptions?
Your meetings are private by default, and will not be viewable in the Team folder. This means that your team members will not be able to view your transcriptions unless you have shared the transcriptions with them or set up permissions for Team members in Space. This setting can be configured in the Settings page.
