Force Tactiq to update straight away in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, instead of waiting for your browser to do it.
📌 Note: Use these steps when you need the newest version immediately, or when support asks you to check which version you're on.
Update manually in Google Chrome
Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions/.Turn on the Developer mode toggle in the top-right corner.
Click Update at the top of the page.
Wait for the confirmation message Extensions updated to appear at the bottom.
Update manually in Microsoft Edge
The steps are the same in Edge, but the Developer mode toggle sits in a different corner.
Open Edge and go to
edge://extensions/, or select Menu ⋯ → Extensions.Turn on Developer mode in the bottom-left corner.
Click Update at the top. Edge checks and updates every installed extension immediately.
Restart Edge if it prompts you to.
Check which version you're on
If support asked you to update, they'll tell you which version to expect. With Developer mode turned on, the version number appears under Tactiq in the Extensions window.

Developer mode has to be on before the Update button appears. In Chrome the toggle is in the top-right corner of chrome://extensions/; in Edge it's in the bottom-left of edge://extensions/.

Your organisation may block extension updates through Group Policy. Contact your IT team — they can push the update for you.
