A prompt group is a folder of related prompts. Once you save one, it is available on every meeting, in your workflows, and if you choose, to your whole team.
📌 Note: Prompt groups used to be called AI Kits or Meeting Kits. They are the same feature, renamed.
Create a prompt group
Go to
AI Toolsin the sidebar to open the Prompts page.Click New group. A new group appears under the Mine tab.
Click the folder icon to pick an emoji for your group.
Give the group a name, then add an optional description.
The Prompts page has three tabs:
Mine: groups you created, or added to your own list
Team: groups shared with your team, including your own shared groups
Explore: ready-made groups from Tactiq that you can use or copy
Add prompts to your group
On your group, click Add prompt.
In the Prompt field, write your instruction for the AI. For example: Summarize the key decisions and assign action items to participants.
In the Name field, give the prompt a short name. This is what you will see in the menu when you run it.
Click Save.
Repeat for as many prompts as you want in the group. To change their order, drag a prompt by the handle on the left of its row.
Two optional settings in the prompt dialog:
Require additional input: Tactiq asks you for extra context when the prompt runs, such as an agenda or the goals of the call. Use Describe what the user should provide to spell out what to enter.
Cite transcript timestamps: the AI shows transcript timestamps (mm:ss) next to each point, so you can jump straight to that moment in the transcript.
Let Tactiq build the prompt for you
If you are not sure how to word a prompt, Tactiq can write it with you.
Open a transcript and click Help me build a prompt.
Answer the questions about what you want the prompt to do.
Save the finished prompt into a group.
This is the quickest way to get a good first prompt, and you can edit it afterwards like any other.
Run your prompts in a meeting
Go to
My Meetingsand open the meeting transcript.Click View all AI prompts.
Filter by All, Mine or Team if you have a lot of them.
Select a group, then choose a prompt to run it.
Save a prompt you have already asked
If you asked a one-off question and it was worth keeping, save it so you can reuse it.
In the transcript, type your question in the "Ask about this meeting…" box and click "Ask AI".
On the result, click the save icon.
Give the prompt a name and check the question text.
Choose the group to save it to, then click Save.
This turns a question that worked once into one you can run in every meeting from now on.
Star your favourite prompts
Starring a prompt puts it straight into the transcript as a button, so you can run it without opening the full list.
Open a transcript and click View all AI prompts.
Click the star next to any prompt.
That prompt now appears as a button in the AI panel of every meeting, alongside options like Generate tasks and Draft email. Click the star again to remove it.
Share a group with your team
Sharing means everyone runs the same prompts and gets comparable results.
On the Prompts page, click the visibility dropdown on the group.
Change it from Private to Share with team.
For the full setup, see How to share prompts with your team.
Use a prompt in a workflow
Add the AI: Use a quick prompt step to a workflow and select a prompt from one of your groups. Tactiq then runs it automatically on every meeting that workflow matches, so you get the output without opening the meeting at all.
When to use a prompt group
Use a group when you want to:
Save time and avoid retyping long prompts
Keep AI results consistent across meetings and across teammates
Run the same prompts automatically through a workflow
Hand a new teammate your proven prompts on their first day
For a simple one-off question, use the Ask about this meeting… box instead. You do not need a group for it, and you can always save it into one later.
