If your upload is stuck on “This meeting is being processed” or shows “There was an error processing this file,” it usually means there’s a problem with the file format, size, or your internet connection. This guide will walk you through quick, easy steps to get your file uploaded successfully—no headaches needed.

Check your file type and size

Tactiq supports the following file formats:

  • Video: MP4, MOV, AVI

  • Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A

  • Documents: TXT, PDF

Your file must be under 2GB. If it’s larger, try trimming it down or compressing before uploading.

Try these simple fixes

These steps resolve most upload issues:

  • Make sure your internet connection is stable

  • Refresh the page and try again

  • Open Tactiq in incognito mode (Ctrl+Shift+N)

  • Switch to a different browser (we recommend Chrome or Edge)

Why these help:
These quick checks help rule out common issues like browser glitches, unstable connections, or temporary conflicts. They’re often enough to get things working again without further troubleshooting.

Test with a smaller file

  • Try uploading a shorter or smaller file

  • See if it completes successfully

  • Note the file size where it stops working

💡 Note: This can help narrow down if the issue is related to file size or format.

You can find full upload instructions here: How to upload video, audio, and transcripts to Tactiq

Try compressing or converting the file to a different format (Optional):
Even if your file is in a supported format, it might have been saved in a way that’s causing issues with uploading. Converting or re-saving the file can often fix this and help it upload smoothly.

Processing time for long recordings

Tactiq supports long recordings, including meetings that are 1–2 hours in length. Processing time depends more on the file size than the duration itself.

Files must be under 2GB to upload successfully. For the best experience, we recommend keeping your file well below this limit, as larger files may take longer to upload and process.

If your recording is large, consider compressing it before uploading. Reducing the file size can significantly improve upload speed and processing time.

If your file is under 2GB and processing takes more than 2 hours, please contact support for further assistance.
